Duties of the Department:
a) To conduct scientific researches in order to develop an education system based on national and social values with the principles of quality, equality and effectiveness by taking universal values and standards into consideration.
b) To plan, prepare and carry out research projects in cooperation with national and international organisations and stakeholders on issues within the mandate of the Presidency.
c) To report scientific research, development and production studies and other projects carried out by various organisations on the subjects within the mandate of the Presidency.
d) To coordinate the work and procedures related to the examination of academic research permits and the formation of opinions on the subjects falling within the mandate of the Presidency.
e) To perform other duties assigned by the President.
